Final project of the semester!

Generosity Project.

For this project, I shared a family recipe reserved for holidays and special occasions.  The project revolved around the notion of quality time, shared time, and gratitude for what we give to one another through relationships.

For ten consecutive days I swam in the ocean, each day adding or subtracting an item of clothing.  The piece started without any clothes, progressively wearing more each day.  The piece is a meditation on how I (we) come before God.  Whether burdened or stripped, He continues to wash me; and I am continually amazed by my brokenness and His persistence.

The doors of the cage are attached inside the whole using embroidery thread and gravity.  The piece hangs over the drinking fountains in Adams Center for the Arts at Westmont College.
